The Brooklyn Bridge Bootcamp Team
All About Ariane
Ariane created the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp in 2008 with the intention to kick New Yorker’s butt with a view. She wanted to offer an effective, yet fun workout that changed bodies quickly, without the monotony of the gym. She also wanted to create a community of motivated New Yorkers who pay their enthusiasm for health and fitness forward to their friends and family.
Today it is often referred to as “New York City’s toughest workout.” It has been featured in Vogue Magazine as “Best Winter Outdoor Workout”, Self Magazine voted it among “The Top 33 Hottest New Workouts in the US”, and Lucky Magazine called it “Best Bikini Boot Camp”. The workout has garnered International media attention and has been featured on Japanese, British, Brazilian, Italian and many German TV programs and in magazines and news papers. Ariane has been featured in Shape Magazine, the New York Times, W Magazine, Woman’s World, Life & Style, Time Out New York, New York Magazine, Running, Women’s Health and many others for her workout creation and provides expert advice on fitness, nutrition and motivation.
Her month-long intense fat loss program, “Slim & Strong” has been selling out month after month for the past 5 years. It has enjoyed immensely positive feedback from its more than 10,000 participants. Her Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp DVD has become a popular at-home workout and she is currently producing a series of workout videos for German and American websites for boot camp fans who can’t make it to the Brooklyn Bridge. Additionally, Ariane offers boot camp retreats in Costa Rica, corporate workshops, and creates detox programs for the NutriBullet Company.
Ariane believes in strong bodies and sound minds, and stresses the importance of balanced nutrition, effective exercise, and a positive sense of self. Ariane stays away from quick fixes and fads, and instead endorses a clean, healthy diet and lifestyle. Her blog “Slim & Strong” (www.slimandstrongblog.com) has been called “Best Fitness Studio Blog in NYC” and provides fat loss information, recipes, workout videos and advice one the most effective ways to go from flab to fab. She specializes in fat loss and health conditioning and draws from a diverse background in fitness, nutrition, psychology, hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

All About Myrna
Myrna is a certified Personal Trainer with a unique back story in that she has undergone a radical physical transformation—she’s lost upwards of 65 pounds—as well as completely redefined her lifestyle—going from sedentary to drill sergeant—in just over a year.
After watching the scale creep past 200 pounds, Myrna decided to give her diet and exercise regime a complete overhaul. She joined Slim and Strong (as a participant), where, as the weeks went by, she started noticing that not only was she getting stronger, leaner, and more fit, but that she was actually good at this exercise thing. In a classic Karate Kid, student-becomes-teacher type plot twist, Myrna’s hard work, perseverance, and positive outlook led her to eventually become an instructor at BBBC and as of recently the manager of Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp.
Keeping with this pattern of reinvention, Myrna recently left corporate HR to make a career out of elevating HRs! Life as a fulltime trainer has been a good one (have you seen the guns on this woman?), but the best part of the job for Myrna is fulfilling her passion of helping others change and improve their lives through fitness.
Seeking inspiration, along with a good-for-you beat down? Catch Myrna (if you can!) on the Brooklyn Bridge.
